
She was born in Rochester, New York on December 4, 1930, a daughter of William and Jane (Warren) Phelan.
She graduated from Irondequoit High School and married George Goodrich September 4, 1955. She graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas College May 23, 1974, with a B.A. in Art. Susan moved to Georgetown in 1980 and then moved to Bath in 2011.
She enjoyed sailing her 27’ Pearson. She also enjoyed her trips with the Womanship Sailing Program, sailing in the Caribbean and the Gulf of Mexico. She also enjoyed genealogy and traveling, especially to the Florida Keys in the winter time. She loved doing Batik art.
She was predeceased by her husband, George Goodrich on January 11, 1986 and her younger sister, Nancy Whitcomb.
She is survived by three sons, David Goodrich and his wife Cindy of Houlton, Bill Goodrich and his wife Jeanne of Bath and Allen Goodrich of Georgetown, one brother, William Phelan of New York, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
