Lab art at library
The artist being showcased in the Stier Family Gallery at Thomas Memorial Library in Cape Elizabeth for the month of April is town resident Jim Williams, who is exhibiting a variety of pieces featuring Labrador retrievers.
Williams says, “In my Lab art I try to capture the essence of Labrador retrievers. Labs have a distinct shape, which you can instantly pick out even from a distance. I love to use bold colors to set off the distinct Lab shape and I like the way they stand, sit, walk, run, romp, swim, jump, chase, retrieve and sleep.” The gallery is free and open to the public during regular library hours. See www.thomasmemoriallibrary.org for more information.
