Chowder luncheon – Friday, April 22, and every Friday, 11 a.m.-1 p.m., North Deering Congregational Church, 1364 Washington Ave., Portland. Bowl of haddock chowder with crackers, $9; or lobster roll lunch with chips, $10; cup of chowder, $6; combination lobster roll with cup opf chowder, $13. All lunches include fresh baked bread, pickle, cookie and beverage. Takeouts available.

Roast beef dinner – Saturday, April 23, 5-6:30 p.m., Windham Hill United Church of Christ, 140 Windham Center Road, Windham. Roast beef with gravy, mashed potato, green beans, coleslaw and pie. All you can eat. $10, $5.

Bean supper – Saturday, April 23, 4:45-6 p.m., Highland Lake Congregational Church, 1303 Bridgton Road, (Route 302), Westbrook. Beans, ham, hot dogs, potato salad, cole slaw, biscuits, desserts and beverages. $8, $3.

Baked haddock dinner – Saturday, April 23, 5-6 p.m., Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 919 Roosevelt Trail (Route 302), Windham. Fresh-baked haddock, vegetables, rolls, coleslaw, coffee/tea/punch and our homemade dessert buffet. $9,  $4. Gluten-free and pizza alternative available. Meals available to go. Profits benefit women in need through the Community of the Resurrection in Otisfield.

Free community dinner – Monday, April 25, 5:30 p.m., First Parish Congregational Church, 1 Church St., Gorham. Baked ham, macaroni and cheese, vegetables, salads and dessert. Sponsored by the Gorham Ecumenical Council and this will be the last dinner until fall. All are welcome.

VFW meal – Wednesday, April 27, 5-6:30 p.m., VFW Post 832, Peary Terrace, South Portland. Shepherd’s pie, veggies, rolls and dessert. $7.

Free meal – Wednesday, April 27, 5-6 p.m., My Place Teen Center, 755 Main St., Westbrook. Sponsored in collaboration with Wayside Food programs and Trinity Lutheran Church. Handicapped accessible.

Saturday night supper – Saturday, April 30, 5-6 p.m., Casco Village Church, UCC, 941 Meadow Road (Route 121), Casco. Beans, casseroles, salads, rolls, hot coffee, cold drinks and homemade pies. Sponsored by thby Caryl Edwards and Lynn Foss. $8, $5; $21 max, families with young children.
