The volunteers of the Westbrook Food Pantry want to thank Alfred Jacob of AJ’S Market on Brown Street for his great support of the pantry, especially during the Food Train conducted by Trinity Lutheran Church.

Mr. Jacob not only took part each year in the two-month gathering of money and food, but also kept a big money jar going all year long for customers to contribute to the pantry. Now at the unfortunate closing of the market, he is donating much of his stock to the pantry.

He was definitely one of the strongest business supporters of the pantry.
