The Cape Elizabeth Land Trust is planning a nature walk in the Robinson Woods Preserve on Tuesday, May 17, from 9-11 a.m. The goal is to seek out vernal pools and wildflowers.
Participants will learn more about natural habitats and their particular flora and fauna from Cape naturalist Tony Owens. In addition, the walk will serve to increase awareness of the varied open spaces in Cape Elizabeth. The walk will be held rain or shine, so those attending should dress appropriately, with footwear for wet walking. The maximim number of participants is 12.
The cost is $6 and attendees should meet at the Robinson Woods kiosk off Shore Road. See www.capeommunityservices.org for more information or to register.
