Sharron Morse, 73, of Phippsburg, ME, passed away on Friday, April 29, 2016. She was born to Russell W. Turner and Wavelette (Winslow) Turner on April 29, 1943.
On October 22, 1962, she married Frederick S. Morse of Phippsburg, ME.
Sharron enjoyed knitting and crocheting as well as sewing and quilting. In recent years, she had become involved with the narrow gauge railway museum in Alna which is a great passion of husband Frederick. Much of her remaining free time was spent enjoying lively phone conversations with family.
She is survived by her husband, Frederick, of Phippsburg and her four children: Diana Morse of Harrisburg, PA, Barbara Morse Moore and husband Barry of Woolwich, ME, James Morse of Virginia Beach, VA, and Edward Morse of Aventura, FL. She also leaves behind many caring grandchildren and one great granddaughter, as well as other relatives.
Sharron requested that no funeral be held. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Wiscasset, Waterville & Farmington Railway Museum at Sheepscot Station, PO Box 242 in Alna, ME 04535.
