OLD ORCHARD BEACH — An Old Orchard Beach woman has been charged with reporting a false robbery in an attempt to get prescription drugs.
Old Orchard Beach police responded to the area of St. John Street and Saco Avenue around 9 a.m. on Tuesday for a reported robbery.
After investigating the situation, police determined that Nicole Gagnon, 34, had filed a false report in an attempt to obtain prescription medications. she was charged with filing a false public alarm and report.
