BRUNSWICK — The Brunswick Junior High School girls lacrosse team scored 16 goals, but St. Dom’s came away with a 20- 16 victory in recent action.
Brunswick jumped out to a quick lead with goals by Lila Solberg and Anna Nadeau.
St. Dom’s turned the tables and scored several goals to take a 13-8 lead into halftime.
In the second half, Makenna Monaghan and Riley Williams jump started the Huskies’ defense, while the offense continued to exert offensive pressure and hammer the Saints with shots.
Anna Nadeau led the way for Brunswick with for goals, Lila Solberg and MacKenzie Dorr each had three, Liberty Krauss nabbed two, while Riley Williams, Sara Scrapchansky and Alyssa Wyman each netted one.
Libby Felkay was excellent in goal for the Huskies. .
