A team from the Friends of Scarborough Marsh, called the Mighty Marsh Muckers, will compete to spot as many bird species as possible, on Sunday, May 22. The event is a fundraiser for the Maine Audubon Society. All pledges and donations raised will help support the education work the Scarborough Marsh Audubon Center does to conserve Maine’s wildlife and wildlife habitats.

The goal of the fundraiser is to offer more programming to schools and the general public while also increasing the center’s citizen science projects including plant and insect biodiversity days and bird monitoring.
