KENNEBUNK — The Kennebunk boys baseball team grinded out a much-needed win over visiting York Friday afternoon.

York jumped out to an early 3-0 lead in the first inning, however the Rams rebounded and chipped away, scoring runs in the first, third and fifth inning.

The winning run came in the sixth inning when a John Jarowicz bunt advanced Jack Kiley to third, who then score on a throwing error.

Eric Aiken got the start for Kennebunk, pitching six strong innings while Ryan Coughlan earned the save in the seventh.

Noble 9, Windham 6

Windham jumped out to a 6-1 lead early on, but the Knights fought back to earn the win Friday.

The difference came in the sixth when Noble scored six runs after being down 6-3. Both Kendra Silvers and Kassidy Lessard hit two-run doubles, while Mackenzie Aleva and Kasey Poligni added RBI singles.

Shaughnessey Gower pitched a complete game for Noble, giving up six runs on nine hits while striking out five.

Lake Reg ion 8, Wels 4

The visiting Lake region squad pushed past Wells Friday afternoon.

Aimley Michaud-Nolan scored twice for the Warriors, while Alyssa Loukola, Bri Michaud-Nolan and Kylie Belanger scored one apiece.

Katie Reidy had a solid day in the cage, making 12 stops.
