A 15-year-old Biddeford High School freshman has been charged with felony terrorizing for allegedly posting a threatening video online.

Police Chief Roger Beaupre says the student posted a video on May 25 of a person brandishing a firearm and a caption that made reference to school the next day at the high school. School officials canceled classes the next day as a precaution.

Terrorizing is a Class C felony.

Police did not identify the student because of his age. The case as been referred to juvenile court for prosecution, Beaupre said.
