Bruce Linscott Allen of Bailey Island, Maine died June 19, 2016. He was born February 19, 1936 and lived in Lexington, Massachusetts until April 6, 1957, when he married his wife Joanne, also from Lexington, at the Orr’s Island Methodist Church. Together they have lived on Bailey Island since 1957, and have wintered on Marco Island, Florida since 1985.
Surviving is his wife Joanne, and their three children; a daughter Dawn Allen of Topsham, Maine; a son Scott Allen and his wife Sandy of Bailey Island, Maine; a son Greg Allen and his wife Natalie of East Boothbay Harbor, Maine. Also nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Friday June 24 at 2 pm, at Mackeral Cove, Bailey Island.
