The new Westbrook Public Services and School Bus Center is due to open ahead of schedule in October this year, according to WestbrookGorham Rotary Club publicist Paul Emery, a former Westbrook city councilor. Glacial Multimedia announces partnership

Westbrook digital marketing agency Glacial Multimedia has announced a partnership with iMedicWare Inc., hoping to benefit ophthalmology practices. The move is seen by the companies as a technology and marketing partnership and integration program.

iMedicWare is a leading provider of software specifically designed for and created by ophthalmic professionals, and will provide the companies with mutual customers and “strategic integrations,” hoping to make the companies more efficient, according to a press release issued by the two companies. Glacial Multimedia has also catered to the field of ophthalmology, as an internet marketing, website development and software firm. It is located at 625 Main St. in Westbrook.

“We are proud to partner with iMedicWare,” said Michael Dobkowski, the CEO and managing director of search strategy for Glacial Multimedia. “We believe this integration is a perfect fit for customers that need to connect pre-patient and patient systems for maximum practice level efficiency.”

Dobkowski, a Westbrook resident, also ran for City Council last year.

College grads

Lulama Orpah Moyo of Westbrook graduated cum laude last month from Clark University in Worcester, Mass. She received a bachelor of arts degree in international development and social change. She was also honored with the Impact Award from the university’s Department of International Development and Social Change.
Kaitlyn Merrill-Peterson of Westbrook is a recent graduate of the Maine College of Health Professions, Lewiston.

On dean’s list
Westbrook resident Whitney Wallace has been named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at Northeastern University in Boston, Mass. Wallace is majoring in behavioral neuroscience.

Seniors travel reminder
Those interested in traveling to Canada with Westbrook Senior Citizens Sept. 28-Oct.1 are reminded that payment for the trip is due Thursday, June 30.
