
George served both in the US Army and the US Navy for several years each during the Vietnam Era. Following his time in the military he had worked for the Department of Defense and also worked for SUP Ship in Bath for several years.
He enjoyed playing golf and was a very dedicated NASCAR fan and was active in various fantasy leagues.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 40 years, Valerie (Carey)

A graveside service with military honors will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 13, 2016 in the Greenlawn Rest Cemetery, Route 100, Clinton, ME. Arrangements are under the direction and care of Brackett Funeral Home, Brunswick.
