
She was born in Biddeford, the daughter of Robert and Iona (Duguay) Hubert on Sept. 27, 1942. She graduated from Thornton Academy in 1962, and married Darrell Stewart the same year. She drove a school bus for the Saco school district. She sang for many years in the choir at St. Philip Catholic Church, in Lyman, and was a lay associate of the Marie Rivier Presentation of Mary Sisters.
She was preceded in death by her brother Donald Hubert.
She is survived by: her husband Darrell, of 54 years; her daughters, Daryl Lynn Nelsen, Denise Stewart, and Deena Labbe and her husband Michael; seven grandchildren, Nikki, Karissa, Jill, Felicia, Christian, Caleb and Sarah; her brother, David Hubert and his wife Donna; and her godson, Jared.
Family and friends are invited to attend a time of visitation from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2016. A service of the rosary will be celebrated at 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 1, 2016, at St. Philip Church, Goodwins Mills Road, Lyman.
Interment will follow at the Goodwins Mills Cemetery.
