New “Welcome to Scarborough” have been installed at the various gateways into town, such as Route 1 and the Haigis Parkway. The signs are designed to coordinate with the wayfinding signs that were installed a few years ago. The colors are intended to represent sunsets and driftwood, according to the latest town newsletter. The new signs replace a series of older ones that had seen better days.
