The Pine Tree Academy, a pre-K through 12th grade Christian school in Freeport, will host its annual fundraiser golf tournament at Toddy Brook in North Yarmouth on Sunday, Sept. 18. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m.

The Academy invites foursomes of golfer friends to come out for the event, and also offers to pair individuals or groups of two or three up with with other unattached players. The cost is $95 per person, and includes a contintenal breakfast, 18-hole greens fees, cart and lunch after the tournament concludes. Non-golfers can sponsor a cart for as little as $30, or make donations of any other amount.

Proceeds go toward student tuition assistance, scholarships and transportation.

A number of prizes will be on offer, including a truck, courtesy of Casco Bay Ford, and an RV, courtesy of Tri-Sports, for different holes-in-one. There’ll be a closest-to-the-pin contest, a longest drive contest, a putting contest, and raffle and auction items.
