I endorse Annalee Rosenblatt for a seat on the Scarborough Town Council. Annalee is a professional negotiator with vast experience in labor contracts. She earned a bachelor’s degree in education from Arizona State University and taught high school English in Phoenix. While teaching, she earned a master’s degree in counseling and student personnel. Additionally, she completed a two-year program of labor studies at Cornell University.
Annalee has been active in the Scarborough community for over 30 years. She served on the School Board twice, one year as the chair. As chair, she pushed through the idea of student representatives on the board. She is active in the Chamber of Commerce; served as chair of the Scarborough 350th Committee; served on the last two Charter Review Committees and the Comprehensive Plan Committee in 2005; and is a longstanding member of Kiwanis.
Annalee has supported education as a teacher, a parent and a member of the School Board. She now has the opportunity to continue that support as a member of the Town Council. I urge others to vote for her as well.
