Gorham voters will go to the polls Election Day to select their choices in national, state, county and local balloting.

In the municipal election, Gorham will fill three Town Council seats in uncontested races. The three names on the ballot are James Hager, Benjamin Hartwell and Paul Smith. Also unchallenged, Kyle Currier is seeking a School Committee seat with two available. The Town Council and school seats are all for three-year terms.

While municipal posts are uncontested, Town Clerk Laurie Nordfors said write-in votes will be counted.

In Cumberland County action, Gorham will choose between Nadeen M. Daniels of Portland, a Democrat, and James Hughes of Freeport a Republican, in the race for register of probate. For county commissioner, Neil D. Jamieson Jr. of Scarborough, a Democrat, is running unopposed.

Polls in Gorham will be open 7 a.m.-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 8. Ward 1-1 votes at Gorham Middle School, 106 Weeks Road; Ward 1-2, Little Falls Activity Center, 40 Acorn St.; and Ward 2, Shaw Gym, Gorham Municipal Center, 75 South St.

Buxton will vote from 6 a.m.-8 p.m. oat Buxton Town Hall, 185 Portland Road.

There is no municipal ballot. York County candidates for judge of probate are Bernard J. Broder III, an independent of Old Orchard Beach; Bryan M. Chabot, Democrat, Wells; and Robert M. Auclair Nadeau, independent, Biddeford.

In the race for register of probate, Carol J. Lovejoy, a Republican of Kennebunk, is facing Allen R. Sicard, Democrat, Saco.
