BATH — The Bath Middle School seventh-grade boys basketball team earned a pair of wins recently.
First, in a 58-47 win over rival Mt. Ararat, the Destroyers (4-2) led all the way through and took the quarter breaks, 20-8, 27-17 and 39-32.
Gabe Oucoyn led all scorers with 20 points, while Josh Ter Mors picked up 16 and a game-high 13 rebounds.
Mt. Ararat was led by Spencer LeClair with nine points.
Bath hit 16-of-33 from the free-throw line, while the Eagles managed 8-of-24.
In a second game against Oxford Hills, the Destroyers were in command again, taking the quarter breaks, 8-3, 28- 7, 33-10, and winning, 41-11.
Oucoyn again led in scoring, with Josh Knotts and Jansen Morrison leading in rebounds.
Nick Wilson paced Oxford Hills (5-3).
Bath will visit Brunswick today.
