TURNER — The Mt. Ararat Middle School seventh-grade boys basketball team dropped a game to Tripp recently, 33-27.
Hunter Hayes led the Tripp offense with 10 points while Degan Jordan sank a trey from midcourt to end the third quarter.
Ben Keleher and Cody Bowker led the Eagles with 10 and nine points, respectively.
Jay Kearney sparked the Eagles comeback in the second half that fell just short.
