Seniors meet to eat
Westbrook Senior Citizens will be served a meal when the group meets at noon on Monday, Jan. 16, at the Westbrook Community Center, 426 Bridge St.
The menu includes stuffed shells with sauce, salad, Italian bread and lemon meringue pie. Pianist David Stone will entertain.
The group has a packed travel schedule. It will visit colonial Williamsburg and Busch Gardens in Virginia April 21-25 and Nova Scotia on June 29 for the Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo. This year’s festival celebrates Canada’s 150th birthday.
In September, the group goes to Wildwood Crest in Cape May, New Jersey. That trip also includes Atlantic City for a show, the Rinault Winery and a visit to historic Cape May or a boat ride.

Womans club program
The GFWC Westbrook Woman’s Club will meet on Tuesday, Jan.17, at 1 p.m. at the Westbrook-Warren Congregational Church, 810 Main St.
The meeting topics are spinning, Dirigo State Girls and Maine Youth leadership. Guests are welcome.
Youth football fundraiser
The third annual Crop for a Touchdown, a scrapbooking event, to benefit Westbrook youth football K-6 grade is set for 8:30 a.m.- 5 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 21, in the cafeteria at Westbrook Middle School.
The event includes food, raffles, swap table, prizes and vendors; light breakast and lunch. Registration, available at the door, is $40.
