BATH — The Bath Middle School seventh-grade boys basketball squad ended its season with a 48-43 win over Lewiston recently.
The Destroyers (7-3) jumped out to an early first-quarter lead (16-4) before Lewiston (6-4) made its way back at halftime (29-23) and eventually tied the game at 35 heading into the final frame.
Bath, which hit 8-of-17 free throws, was paced by Gabe Aucoin (20 points) and Josh ter Mors (17 points).
Malik Fosier notched 12 points for Lewiston, while Ali Abdullah and David Omasmabo split 16 down the middle. The visitors were 3- of-9 from the line.
