LISBON

Jonah Sautter and Sean Scott each hit five 3-pointers as the Lisbon High School boys basketball team powered past Mt. Abram, 67-34, on Wednesday in makeup Mountain Valley Conference action.

Sautter had a game-high 22 points, while Scott finished with 15. Tyrese Joseph chipped in 16 points in the win.

The Greyhounds jumped out to a 14-7 first-quarter lead, led 39-13 at the half and 54-22 after three.

Trevor Chaput paced the Roadrunners (4-11) with 10 points.

Lisbon (9-7) visits Mountain Valley on Friday at 7 p.m.

Girls basketball

SALEM — Lisbon outscored Mt. Abram 37-19 in the second half to pull away for a 60-38 MVC win.

The Greyhounds improved to 9-8, while the Roadrunners fell to 8-8.

Kaylin Le led the balanced Lisbon attack with 14 points, followed by Jasmin Le (12 points), Giana Russo (11), Kipri Steele (nine) and Ali Sult (eight).

Summer Ross led Mt. Abram with 17 points.

At the free-throw line, Lisbon finished 13-of-17, while the Roadrunners were 8-of- 16.

The Greyhounds conclude their regular season on Monday at Monmouth, with tip scheduled for 7 p.m.

Girls hockey

AUBURN — Saige Arsenault and Haley Frolich had two goals each as Edward Little/Leavitt/Poland pulled away for a 9-3 Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference victory over Brunswick at Norway Savings Bank Arena.

The Dragons dropped to 8- 9 and visit Greely on Saturday at 6:10 p.m. The Red Hornets are 12-4-1.

Taylor Cailler chipped in a goal and two assists in the win, while Jenna Brooks powered Brunswick with two goals. Madeline Berry chipped in a goal for the Dragons, who are currently in fifth place in the North Heal Point standings.
