BATH — The Hyde-Bath boys varsity lacrosse team is trying out a unique way to connect with prospective new teammates.
On April 4, Hyde will be hosting a meet and greet, but this meet and greet is unlike any that Hyde has hosted before. While the team will be here on the Bath campus, instead of interested students joining them here in Maine, the team will be broadcasting the event live on Facebook.
“Our players come from all over the country and the globe, so this is the perfect opportunity for prospective students and their parents to meet the current players and coaches without having to travel. We hope they get a feel for the team, and the opportunities that being a Hyde lacrosse player offers to each player. I don’t want to give away too much,” said head coach Chris Kidger.
The team is also excited to share what they think separates Hyde School and the Hyde School lacrosse team from other schools.
You can watch the live stream on the Hyde School Facebook page, https://www facebook.com/HydeBoardingSchools, on April 4 at 3 p.m.
