MIDDLEBURY, Vt. — The Plymouth State University baseball team spoiled Middlebury College’s home opener Wednesday afternoon, sweeping the Panthers by scores of 6-3 and 8-1 in non-conference action at Forbes Field.
In the opener, Tyler Brown earned the mound win for PSU, with Alex Larson of Brunswick picking up the save. Larson permitted one hit in two innings of work.
PSU improved to 15-14 on the season, while Middlebury fell to 13-12.
