She was born May 13, 1934 in Biddeford, a daughter of Alexander and Accee (Hince) Letourneau and was educated in Biddeford.
Alice had worked as a stitcher at Herman Shoe Shop.
She looked forward to the arrival of spring each year so that she could get out into her flower gardens. She also enjoyed taking rides to the beach, handcrafting teddy bears and sewing.
Her first husband, Norman R. Dumas, died in 1975, and her second husband, Robert R. Sevigny, in 2016. She was also preceded in death by nine siblings.
Surviving are two daughters: Susan Cote and her husband Andre of Waterboro and Polly Plourde and her husband Dan of Dayton; a son, Mark Dumas of Biddeford; three stepdaughters, Nancy Dandy and her husband Steven of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Kathy Powers and her husband Keith of South Portland, and Robyn Palardis and her husband Peter of Biddeford; a stepson, Ronald Sevigny and his partner Sharon Peck of Jackman; a brother, Richard Letourneau and his wife Louise of Poland, Maine; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visiting Hours will be 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 13, 2017, at Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm St., Biddeford, ME 04005. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
