Arleen E. Rancourt, 75, of Brunswick, ME, passed away at home on June 25, 2017 after a battle with Kidney disease.

Arleen was born in Boston, MA on July 6, 1941 the second of two daughters to Genevieve and Eugene Pawley. Arleen graduated from St. Gregory’s Catholic High School in Dorchester, MA.

Arleen married Roger Rancourt of Bennington, VT in 1961. She worked as a hair dresser for many years. She retired from L.L. Bean. She was a member of the All Saints Parish chapter of the Daughters of Isabella and Sew Blessed Ministries. Arleen enjoyed sewing. She created many Halloween costumes for her three children and five grandchildren.

Arleen is survived by her husband Roger, her sister Diane Nielsen and her husband Paul of Centerville, MA, her daughters Donna of Bowdoin, Beth Fager and husband Kent of Lunenburg, MA, and Cindy and her husband Bob Craig of Bowdoin, five grandchildren; Christopher and James Badger, Jacob and Jessica Fager and Courtney Rancourt, four great grandchildren; Jayden,

The family would like to thank the Fresenius Kidney Care Center in Bath for their care and compassion. A celebration of life mass will be held on Thursday, June 29, 2017 @ 11 am at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Brunswick, ME. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Coastal Humane Society in Brunswick, 30 Range Rd., Brunswick, ME 04011.
