TOPSHAM — Edward Louis Joseph Lamarre, 51 passed away unexpectedly at home on early Wednesday morning Sept. 13, 2017 with his beloved wife Stacy at his side. Although a short time it was some of the happiest days of our lives.

He graduated from Brunswick High School in 1985 where he was a voracious lineman on a winning football team. He graduated from Bridgeton Academy and attended the University of Maine, Orono.

In his early years Ed was involved in the family painting business that spanned for 3 generations, working side by side with his father and family members. His recent occupation was at Dingley Press. His previous occupation was Owens Corning. His determination in all things was unquestionable. He found pleasure in labor, his heart was as warm as the summer sun. His love for his family and his wife was as deep as the sea. Those who knew him remember the strong bond he shared with his father.

His favorite hobby was cooking, clam digging and going to Stover’s Point with his beloved wife.

He was predeceased by his father Ronald Louis Joseph Lamarre.

He is survived by his wife, Stacy Lamarre; children, Damen Lamarre and Kat Bernier of Alabama, Slayden Lamarre of Harpswell, Staycen Lamarre of Brunswick and Shausta Lamarre of Harpswell; stepdaughter, Celest Grant of California, his mother Phyllis Lamarre and Art Balcomb of Gardiner; sister, Alice and husband Jayson Stewart of Kansas, his Aunt Nancy D’alessio who he had a special bond and relationship and often referred to her as his second mom, several aunts, uncles and cousins including his favorite cousins, Tony D’alessio and his wife Ann, Dominic D’alessio and his wife Maria, Heidi and her husband Paul L’Heureux. He will be greatly missed.

Services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, Sept 22 at St. John’s Church, All Saints Parish, 39 Pleasant Street, Brunswick. Refreshments will follow at 14 Robin Drive, Brunswick.
