AUBURN — The Brunswick High School girls jayvee soccer team extended its undefeated streak to begin the year with a 3-2 victory over Edward Little on Monday.
All three Brunswick goals came in the first half, beginning with Alex Bunker’s shot from the right wing, just two minutes in.
Ten minutes later, Portia Woestman added a second off of an assist from Katherine Hartnet.
Woestman, who had two assists, set up Lila Solberg from just beyond the 18 for the third Dragon goal.
Brunswick controlled possession for most of the game and produced the majority of threatening attacks. Strong play from Elena Palmer, Taylor Cunningham and Grace Confer helped seal the win.
