
Widow of the late Fernand L. Brochu, she was born Feb. 19, 1924 to the late Fred and Melina (Collin) Marquie in St. Agathe, Maine. She was educated in St Agathe school system, but moved to the Biddeford area during World War II to help the war effort, where she met the love of her life Fernand, they were married on June 21, 1947 and were married for 70 years.
She retired as a stitcher from the John Roberts Clothing Manufacturing. She loved to knit, and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and the pool. But she cherished spending quality time with her husband especially those Saturday night adventures. Alandine was the third oldest child of 17 siblings.
Alandine is survived by her daughter Fernande (Fran) Poisson of North Waterboro; grandchildren Jason Poisson of North Waterboro, and Tricia (Steve) Bodge of Richmond; great-granddaughter Kaylee Bodge; and several nieces and nephews.
Burial will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2017, at 11 a.m. in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Biddeford.
