BIDDEFORD — Thomas K. Nadeau, 56, of Biddeford died Friday, Oct. 13, 2017 at Greenhill Residence.

He was born July 27, 1961, the youngest child of Arthur and Rita (Dunn) Nadeau.

Thomas had participated on the Special Olympics for a number of years and had won numerous medals in the track and field events. He loved the competition and found great enjoyment in the sport. He always greeted people with a big smile.

He was predeceased by his parents and a brother, Ronnie Nadeau.

Surviving are seven sisters Barb Lariviere of Biddeford, Cindy Dubois and her husband Marcel of Arundel, Charlene Welch and her husband Dave of Lebanon, Jeanine Stevens of Saco, Donna Corbeil of Biddeford, Cheryl Precourt and her husband Moe of Dayton and Sandra St. Onge and her husband Roger of Chantilly, Virginia; seven brothers Al Nadeau of Biddeford, Joe Nadeau and his wife Judy of Alexandria, Virginia, Wayne Nadeau and his wife Sam of Florida, Brian Nadeau and his wife Debbie of Saco, Ray Nadeau and his wife Debbie of Biddeford, Danny Nadeau of Old Orchard Beach and Gerard Nadeau of California; an aunt Rita Noonan; and many nieces and nephews and several cousins.

Visiting Hours will be 1 to 2 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 19, 2017 at Hope Memorial Chapel 480 Elm St., Biddeford, ME 04005, followed by a funeral service at the funeral home at 2 p.m. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Biddeford.
