WOOLWICH — Incumbent Selectmen Allison Hepler and Jason Shaw won reelection in a three-person race for two seats with 40 percent and 44 percent of the vote, respectively. Challenger James Gabor was unable to defeat the two incumbents to win a seat on the Board of Selectmen.
“I’m grateful for the support of so many Woolwich residents,” said Hepler. “It’s an honor and a big responsibility to do this work.”
“I want to thank the citizens of the town of Woolwich for re-electing me to the Selectboard and having faith in my ability to help lead the town,” Shaw said in an email to The Times Record this morning. “I also would like to congratulate Allison on her re-election to the board.”
Gabor received 272 votes, while Shaw received 743 votes and Hepler received 669 votes. There were two write-in votes cast.
