BRUNSWICK — A pair of Bowdoin College women’s soccer players have been recognized by the New England Small College Athletic Conference as First Team selections in post- season awards released on Thursday.
Junior midfield Julia Patterson and senior defender Nikki Wilson are both repeat All- NESCAC selections for Bowdoin.
Patterson was the Rookie of the Year in 2015 and earned a spot on the First Team this season. She ranked third among the Polar Bears’ scoring leaders with nine points and tied for the team lead in assists (five) this season.
Wilson became a First Team selection for the first time in her career after earning Second Team recognition last year. She saw action in 14 games and tallied seven points. The senior ended her career with eight goals and four assists ( 20 points) while appearing in 56 games over four years. Wilson tallied game- winning goals in each of her last three seasons.
