
He was born on Sept. 9, 1940 to Henri Robert and Melia Laura (Poirier) Audet in Biddeford. He graduated from St. Louis High School.
On Sept. 7, 1963, he married Monique Sevigny at St. Joseph Church in Biddeford.
He worked at Garland Manufacturing for many years until his retirement in 2007. He was a proud member of both the St. Louis Alumni and the Biddeford Athletic Association. He was a huge sports fan, especially football and baseball. In his younger years he coached football and baseball.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Robert Audet.
Raymond is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Monique Audet of Biddeford; three children Guy Audet of Las Vegas, Nevada, Roberta Audet of Biddeford and Michael Audet and his wife Jennifer of Biddeford; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many nieces, nephews, friends and family.
A memorial service will be celebrated at 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 17, 2017 at Hope Memorial Chapel 480 Elm St., Biddeford, ME 04005. Burial will be at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Biddeford.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Raymond’s name may be made to the Biddeford Athletic Association, 22 Maplewood Ave., Biddeford, ME 04005.
