BIDDEFORD — Sheila M. Lavoie, 71, of Biddeford, passed away Sunday, Nov. 12, 2017 at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough.

She was born April 5, 1946 in Waterville, a daughter of James and Gladys (Gaboury) Sullivan and was educated there.

Sheila had worked in the banking system for 20 years, retiring in 2008 from Bank of America as an analyst.

On Nov. 25, 2005 she married Gerard Lavoie at Notre Dame de Lourdes Church in Saco. She was a member of Good Shepherd Parish and the 50 plus club; Sheila enjoyed fishing, movies, reading, knitting, gardening and collecting antiques. She liked to travel and to attend the school events of her grandchildren.

Sheila is survived by her husband Gerard Lavoie; a daughter, Karen Baldwin and her children Lindsey and Connor of Hollis, and a son Kevin Clifford of Conyers, Georgia; two brothers Randy Sullivan of Semmes, Alabama and Gary Sullivan of West Gardiner.

There will be no visiting hours. A Mass of a Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday Nov. 17, 2017 at St. Anne’s Chapel of St. Joseph Church in Biddeford. Burial will be St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Biddeford. Arrangements are by Hope Memorial Chapel.
