SACO — Pauline Perkins, age 96 of Biddeford, died on Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2017 at the Monarch Center in Saco.

Born on March 20, 1921 in Biddeford, to John and Georgianna (Lachance) Bissonnette. She was educated in the Biddeford schools.

On Sept. 28, 1940, she married Franklin R. Perkins, Sr. at St. Andre’s Church in Biddeford. They spent 66 years together until his death on Dec. 2, 2006.

Pauline stayed at home to raise her children. She belonged to the Senior Citizens group in Biddeford. She loved flowers, cooking, and being with her family. She enjoyed Beano on Wednesdays and traveling with her sister-in-law, Ethel. She could always be found working around the house on one of her many projects.

She is preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.

Pauline is survived by two sons, Franklin Perkins, Jr. and his companion Yvonne of Biddeford and Daniel P. Perkins and his wife Wanda of Fort Myers, Florida; a daughter Priscilla Daw and her husband Albert of Mobile, Alabama; sisters Theresa Stickles of Saco and Noella Gilbert and her husband Armand of Biddeford; five grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

There will be no visiting hours. A private graveside service will be held.
