SANFORD — Sally A. Ricker Clark, passed away at the York Hospital on Wednesday Nov. 15, 2017.

She was born in Alfred on Aug. 14, 1941 a daughter of the late Waldo E. and Nedra P. Ricker. She graduated from Sanford High School with the Class of 1959.

On Oct. 7, 1961 she married Richard Clark at the Congregational Church in Alfred. Sally worked for more than 40 years for Tenneford Weaving until she retired in 2003.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Clark of Sanford; two sons, Jonathan Clark and his wife, Shari and their two sons, Andrew and William all of Berwyn, Pennsylvania, David Clark and his wife, Kelly and their son, Emerson of Wells; sister, Eleanor Williams and her husband, Gary of Sanford; brother, Richard Ricker and his wife, Kathleen of Sanford. She is also survived by many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, in laws and friends.

Sally will be greatly missed by all who knew her. The family would like to sincerely thank all those who were involved in her care recently.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 21 at noon at Evergreen Cemetery in Alfred. Visiting hours for family and friends will be from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday morning at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main St., Springvale.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital, Maine Medical Center, 22 Bramhall St., Portland, Maine 04102.
