GORHAM — Former Freeport High School athlete Chandler Vincent was recently named Track Rookie of the Week in the Little East Conference.
Vincent, coming off an impressive cross country season, was a double winner for the University of Southern Maine, taking the 5,000 (15:28.88) by more than 24 seconds and the 3,000 (9:09.44).
Vincent’s time in the 5,000 met the New England Division III Championships qualifying standard.
