
Marie was born in Biddeford, Maine on June 27, 1929, a daughter of the late David and Adele Bilodeau and was one of six children.
Marie worked in the textile mills in Biddeford, Maine where she met her future husband and love of her life, Charles Hamlyn. They were married 64 years. She also worked in Wells hotels. She then began working for her husband’s partnership Hamlyn Brothers building business. They enjoyed life together, snowmobiling, extensive traveling with friends on the motorcycle. She enjoyed many handcrafts and a good game of cribbage.
Marie is predeceased by husband Charles E. Hamlyn and survived by two sons, Charles D. Hamlyn and Richard Hamlyn, both of Wells; one daughter, Carol M. Crocker of Port Orange, Florida; one sister Alice Mailhot of Biddeford, Maine; three grandsons; two granddaughters; three great-grandsons; and one great-granddaughter.
Many good memories will be cherished.
The family will have a celebration of Marie’s life at a later date in her home state of Maine.
