WITH SOLAR PANELS IN PLACE and ready to go, the town of Woolwich is ready for a ribbon cutting ceremony 10 a.m. Thursday. The solar array is located at the town's old landfill on Route 127. The panels, owned and operated by ReVision Energy for the first six years with an opportunity for the town to purchase after, are expected to cover 97 percent of the power used by their municipal buildings. In case of inclement weather, a snow date for the ribbon cutting is set for Jan. 11 at the same time.
