TOPSHAM — Joseph F. Bartos III, age 59, died at his home after a long illness on Tuesday, January 9, 2018.
He was born April 5, 1958, in Bath, Maine, a son of Joseph F. Jr. and Barbara Barrows Bartos. He grew up in the Lisbon area, graduating from Lisbon High School. He had been a longtime employee at Phillips Element in Lewiston.
He is survived by his father, Joseph F. Bartos Jr. of Bingham, ME; a brother, Robert E. Bartos of Bath, ME; three sisters, Patti Jean Bartos of Topsham, Vicki Lynn MacLean of Salem, MA, Trudi Ann Grant of Florida; several aunts and uncles, Katherine Fortunato of Florida, Eva Stenick of Ossining, NY, Caroline Harper of Bossier City, LA, Victor and Sandra Bartos of Pleasant Valley, NY; numerous nieces and nephews, and cousins.
A burial will be announced for the spring in Riverview Cemetery, Topsham.
