Rep. Paul Chace, R-Durham, has served House District 46 (North Yarmouth, Durham and Pownal) with distinction over the past four years. In the Maine Legislature he has supported many positions that are important to me.

Chace led the effort to protect our IRA retirement funds from being seized by creditors. This helps many Maine residents who rely on these funds later in life. He fought to make female genital mutilation illegal in Maine, but was defeated in that effort by Democrat legislators. He supported higher state funding to local school districts and lower income tax rates.

Chace has volunteered with the North Yarmouth Men’s Club, the Pownal Men’s Club, the First Parish Congregational Church, and many other organizations. He was the 2016 American Legion Legislator of the Year. In 2019 Paul will have a leadership position in the House and will help shape policy.

Please send him back to Augusta.
