60 Years Ago

The Westbrook American reported on Oct. 22, 1958, that John Bragdon and Peter Beal, both of Westbrook, had reported to the air base in San Antonio, Texas, for training. Nineteen students from Gorham including Robert Shiers were attending the University of Maine for the fall semester.
