BIDDEFORD — Pauline C. Laliberte, 98, of Biddeford died Friday, Jan. 4, 2019 at St. Andre’s Health Care.

She was born Nov. 22, 1920 in Biddeford, a daughter of Alfred and Yvonne (Bergeron) Larochelle.  She was educated in Biddeford Schools, graduating from St. Joseph High School in the Class of 1938.

On Sept. 5, 1949 she married Andre J. “Bing” Laliberte in St. Andre’s Church in Biddeford.

Pauline had been employed at the Pepperell Trust Company in Biddeford for 46 years.

She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella and had enjoyed sewing and working in her flower garden.

Preceding her in death were Paul Laliberte, her son, in 1989, Andre, her husband of 48 years in 1998, brothers Robert and Normand Larochelle, and sisters Theresa Begin and Jean Cullinan.

She is survived by her son Guy N. Laliberte and his wife Mary of Saco; two grandsons, Nathan Laliberte of Winthrop, Massachusetts and John Laliberte and his wife Candace of Scarborough; two great-grandchildren Aida and Henry Laliberte; a brother Roland Larochelle of Montreal, Province of Quebec; a sister Carmen Murray of Biddeford; and nieces and nephews.

Visiting Hours will be 4 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 6, 2019 at Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm St., Biddeford, ME 04005. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. in St. Joseph Church on Monday, Jan. 7. Burial will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery in Saco. The family requests that donations in memory of Pauline be made to: Hospice of Southern Maine, 180 US Route 1, Scarborough, ME 04074 or to St. Andre’s Healthcare Facility, 407 Pool St. Biddeford, ME 04005.
