BRUNSWICK — Freshman Maddi Kinney scored five goals to power the Mt. Ararat High School girls lacrosse team to a 13-3 victory over Lawrence on Friday at Bowdoin College. 

The Eagles (1-0) visit Morse on April 23 at 5 p.m.

Jess Cloutier chipped in three goals in the win, while freshman goaltender Amanda Pickens had seven saves. 

Maddy Young turned away two shots in the Lawrence (0-1) cage.
