JEFFERSON – Mary Louise Jones passed away on June 11, 2019, at her home in Jefferson. She was 82 years old.

Louise was raised in Kaiser, Mo., the eldest child of Don and Carrie Arnold. She attended Draughon’s Business College in Springfield, Mo., after completing high school, and married Monty Jones in 1955 at the Riverview Baptist Church in Osage Beach, Mo. They shared many adventures, including living in Spain for several years with three young children and raising and selling Red Angus breeding stock on their farm in Maryland after their children were grown. Louise was a member and leader of TOPS groups in Topsham, Maine and Leonardtown, Md., where she enjoyed encouraging fellow members to reach their goals.

She is survived by her husband Monty Jones of Jefferson, brothers Don Ray and Carl Dean Arnold; three children Susan, Scott and Mary Anne Jones; seven grandchildren Michael Belanger, Carrie Louise and Neil Jones, Lyle and Dana Douglass, and Minka Louise and Ryan Dorer; and two great-grandchildren Ayden and Adeline Belanger.

Louise is terribly missed and lovingly remembered by friends and family as a beautiful woman with an infectious smile, a dedicated wife, mother, grammy and great-grammy, an organized, tireless and talented homemaker, and a loyal friend and correspondent.
