FALMOUTH — Real estate reevaluations are now underway in the northwest corner of Falmouth, near the border of Cumberland and Windham.

The project, which began in late January, will update property values in town, according to a prepared release. Data collectors from Vision Government Solutions have begun visiting Falmouth properties to conduct exterior evaluations. Interior evaluations will be conducted from July 2021 through summer 2022. Residents will receive mailed notices indicating when data collectors will be in their neighborhood. Inspections take 10-15 minutes, but inspections are not mandatory. Data collectors are following all CDC guidelines. The project is expected to wrap up in August 2022.

The last reevaluation was in 2009, according to Assistant Town Manager Amy Lamontagne. For more information, visit falmouthme.org/home/pages/revaluation-project-2021-2022.
