Thomas Patrick Golden
OGUNQUIT/NEWRY – Thomas Patrick Golden, 80, of Ogunquit left us suddenly on Thursday, March 25, 2021.Tom was born Feb. 5, 1941 in Flushing, N.Y. His passion for the outdoors and his ability to easily befriend the people around him touched many lives during his time with us. Tom married Michele Gonzales on Dec. 6, 1969 in Sharon, Mass. after meeting at the Linderhof in Glen, N.H., where they were members of the Penguins Ski Club. They soon relocated to Ogunquit where their two children were raised.A devoted husband and father, his family became his lifelong source of love and pride.Tom will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by his beloved wife and best friend of 51 years, Michele Golden; daughter Tara Patten and son-in-law Rob Patten of Rye, N.H., daughter Amanda Monson and son-in-law Doug Monson of Cape Elizabeth; grandchildren Anya Monson, Porter Monson, Charlie Patten, and Rowan Patten.At this time there will be a private family gathering. When it is safe to do so, we will have a celebration of Tom’s life for all.
