Carl Hugo Silveri

FORT MYERS, Fla. – Carl Hugo Silveri, 80, passed away peacefully on March 22, 2021 in Fort Myers, Fla. He was the beloved husband of Pauline (Lachance) Silveri, with whom he was married for 59 years.

Carl was born in Littleton, N.H. on August 16, 1940 to Leo and Lucille (Tarbell) Silveri.

He spent most of his life in Manchester, N.H. and graduated from Manchester Central High School in 1958. Carl worked for Coca-Cola for 42 years and upon his retirement, he and his wife moved to Long Island.

He was a dedicated husband and family man who enjoyed spending time with extended family and friends. He was always willing to help anyone who needed it. Carl especially liked playing cards, collecting stamps, postcards and antique clocks. He always carried treats in his pockets for all the dogs he met along his way.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two children, Carla Kingston of Portland and Bob Silveri and his wife, Danielle Carey-Silveri of Murrells Inlet, S.C.; his six grandchildren, Jeffrey Lee of Dover, N.H., Timothy Kingston of Chicago, Ill., Jaron Silveri of Layton, Utaj, Patrick Silveri of Tampa Fla., Alyssa Carey of Murrells Inlet, S.C. and Tyler Carey of Holden Beach, N.C.; and a great-grandson, Easton Carey of Murrells Inlet, S.C.; his brother, Wayne Silveri and his wife, Olivia, of Manchester, N.H.; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Carl was predeceased by his brothers, Paul Silveri and Bruce Lyon.

Carl will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.

A celebration of Carl’s life is being planned for the summer.
